Browser-Native Technology Stack

Isolated Browser Processing

PII detection runs in a dedicated processing thread, keeping the UI responsive. Your document is processed in an isolated context that has no network access — nothing leaves the browser.

Browser-Native AI Engine

Advanced AI models run directly in your browser using modern browser technologies for near-native speed. Text extraction, layout analysis, and entity detection all happen locally on your device.

PDF Signing & Stamping

Add signatures and stamps to redacted PDFs entirely in the browser. Upload a signature image or sign directly, then control size and position. The signed document never leaves your device.

Local Storage Only

Document metadata and processing history are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never syncs to any server and is fully under your control — delete it anytime.

Verify It Yourself

Don't take our word for it. Open your browser's Developer Tools and watch the Network tab while you process a document. You'll see zero outbound requests during PII detection and redaction.

1.Open DevTools → Network tab (F12 or Cmd+Option+I)
2.Upload and process a PDF document
3.Observe: 0 network requests during processing
4.Your document never left your device

You Own Your Data — Delete It Anytime

Since all processing history is stored locally in your browser, you have complete control over it. Delete it anytime — no support ticket, no waiting period, no “account deletion request.”

Clear Browser Data

Go to your browser settings and clear site data for pdfredaction.com. This removes all stored metadata, preferences, and processing history instantly.

Chrome: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data
Firefox: Settings → Privacy → Clear Data
Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Data

Clear from Dashboard

Use the document library in your dashboard to delete individual documents or clear your entire processing history with one click. Everything is removed from your browser's local storage immediately.

Dashboard → Document Library → Clear All

Private / Incognito Mode

For maximum privacy, use PDF Redaction in a private browsing window. All processing data is automatically deleted when you close the window — zero traces left behind.

No history, no cache, no cookies after closing
